The astronaut and current commander of the International Space Station (ISS), Alexander Gerst, send the worlds’ first message towards the BigCityBeats’ electronic music dance community from outter space. His message was, among others, an answer to the worlds’ known star-DJs Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Steve Aoki and Timmy Trumpet, who not only send regards towards the ISS but also talked enthusiastic about the vision and cooperation between BigCityBeats WORLD CLUB DOME and the European Space Agency (ESA) and their Zero-Gravity-Mission.

ESA astronaut and ISS-Commander Alexander Gerst:
“I am a big fan of the electronic music and I welcome all new space fans. It is awesome to see how the worlds’ best DJs support space in their messages and lead us to a vision. Thank you for your cooperation and the organisation for this inspiring event. It is a dream that one day every person on our planet has the opportunity to see the world from space. Let us work all together to make this dream reality.” (watch complete video here)

ESA-astronaut Frank de Winne (Head of the European Space Center by ESA) says this about the WCD-&-ESA-cooperation: “I want to thank all top Djs and WORLD CLUB DOME, that they have reached such a wide community range with the message about space. Thank you! And I want to greet all new space fans and of course the whole electronic music-community. See you soon in space!”

“What happens when you combine science and entertainment?”, Bernd Breiter, CEO of BigCityBeats and founder of WORLD CLUB DOME, who had the vision to combine the magical space with the magical electronic music. “Clubmusic connects nations. The leading lines for this community are freedom, love and tolerance. It is a cosmopolitic generation. We want to deliver the fascinating space travelling to a young crowd and explain the science behind space in a simple way.
Looking forward, together, in a new dimension – how can we do this better, than combining space with one of the worlds’ most popular music styles ?”

The clubmusic community by BigCityBeats has more than half of million followers. With this years’ WORLD CLUB DOME Zero-Gravity-Project, Bernd Breiter already has proven, that science and entertainment can be combined in a way that’s supportive on both sides.

More than 1 billion media contacts were reached at the Zero-Gravity-Event in 2018,  where the first club in zero-gravity was built. The Djs Steve Aoki and W&W stood behind the turn tables in a rebuilt A310, which is usually specialized for the astronauts training. The Zero-G-Flight with parabolic manouvers reached over 5 min in zero gravity und let the 50 happy passengers and the Star DJs fall into an zero-gravity-sorrounding.

“I am eager to see, what the year 2019 has to offer… there will be more than only messages out of space. Next to the announcement of the “Space Edition”-motto for the 2019 BigCityBeats WORLD CLUB DOME Edition in Frankfurt, the community will feel how the ESA & BigCityBeats-Cooperation will test the limits about the possibilities an electronic-music-event has.” – Bernd Breiter, CEO of BigCityBeats.
