Platinum-selling Dutch DJ, producer and entrepreneur, Sam Feldt, has established himself as one of the most sought after electronic artists of recent times. Due to his intelligently-crafted crossover sound, Sam has attained incredible achievements and career highlights that place him ahead of his peers, and is now ready to build onto these accolades further.
Sam started making music when he took up piano lessons at the tender age of seven. After taking more of an interest in composition and production, he swiftly learned how to DJ and produce his own music. At the age of 12, Sam was playing his own drive-in shows and parties, accompanied by his father in his local neighbourhood. After playing several club shows across Holland and perfecting his craft behind the decks, Sam developed his uplifting production style, which caught the attention of Spinnin’ Records and MusicAllStars Management. Sam signed to the management agency and the renowned label in 2014, releasing his debut single ‘Bloesem’ with De Hofnar to critical acclaim. Sam’s single ‘Hot Skin’ with Kav Verhouzer subsequently followed, but it was his clever reworking of Robin S’ ‘Show Me Love’ that catapulted him into mainstream consciousness.
‘Show Me Love’ was an enormous hit entering the UK Official Singles Chart at an impressive #4 position, and became a firm fixture in the charts for a total of 21 weeks. Sam’s rendition of the dancefloor classic has reached over 80 million Spotify plays alone. The single also topped the Beatport’s Chillout Chart for over four months and has picked up gold sales awards in Germany, Australia and the UK. His debut 6-track EP titled Been A While was released in March 2016, just a few months before Sam teamed up with fellow Dutch producers Lucas & Steve to release their collaborative track ‘Summer On You’ feat. Wulf. The infectious single has amassed nearly 80 million Spotify Streams and rapidly achieved platinum status in Sam’s home country.
Hot on the heels of the success of ‘Summer On You’, Sam promptly released another collaborative single with Deepend titled ‘Runaways’ with 2017 witnessing the release of three new Sam Feldt singles; ‘Open Your Eyes’ with Australian producer Hook N Sling, ‘Fade Away’ with Italian production duo Lush & Simon and featuring Romanian singer/songwriter INNA , and the single ‘YES’ featuring the vocals of legendary American hip-hop artist, AKON . The track has also marked the announcement of Sam’s hotly anticipated debut album, Sunrise.

The pool party was a sold-out success and was a remarkable accomplishment for the Dutch artist.
Armed with a relentless gig schedule, Sam has been touring non-stop around the world. He showcased his live shows on the global festival circuit last year, performing at Coachella, EXIT Festival, Mysteryland, Snowbombing and Ultra Music Festival . Sam returned to Ultra for 2017, appearing on the main stage in front of thousands of revellers. He also brought his Heartfeldt Pool Party to America for the first time. Additionally, Sam is enjoying another hectic Ibiza summer schedule, playing a string of dates across the island, including several appearances at Ushuaia, Pacha and the newly launched Hï Ibiza . His return to the White Isle follows on from 2016, where he played notable residencies alongside the likes of Kygo, Klingande and Robin Schulz.
With 2017 proving to be his biggest year yet, Sam was also the recipient of the prestigious ‘Hit of The Year’ award at the Radio 100% NL Awards for ‘Summer On You’ . Not stopping there, the platinum-selling hit also won the ‘Buma National Award’ at this year’s Buma Awards.
Alongside his dynamic DJ sets, Sam is accompanied by his band on stage who bring live elements to his shows. Comprised of trumpet and saxophone players, the band have become a solid staple in his performances. “It’s all about bringing that new energy on stage,” says Sam. “I have used live elements and organic (recorded) instruments a lot. It just makes sense to invole them when
playing a live shows, and you definitely see the crowd reacting to it extremely well.”
