Für den Herbst 2021 hat sich ESA-Astronaut Matthias Maurer hohe Ziele gesteckt. Er startet als vierter deutscher Astronaut zur Internationalen Raumstation ISS. Die Mission „Cosmic Kiss“ ist Maurers Liebeserklärung an den Weltraum. Sechs Monate wird er auf der ISS leben und arbeiten. Eine Mission, die schon im Vorfeld hohe Wellen schlägt und enormes mediales Aufsehen erregt.Die „Space Symphony“ –eine Komposition aus dem Hause BigCityBeats, wird stetiger Begleiter der Mission sein. Sie wurde zur Missionsankündigung bereits in Teilen verwendet. Nun ist das gesamte, epische Klangmeisterwerk in voller Länge zu hören und wird auf sämtlichen sozialen Netzwerken geteilt sowie in den öffentlichen Medien verbreitet. Ein speziell produziertes Video untermalt den bombastischen Soundtrack zur Mission „Cosmic Kiss“.Rund dreieinhalb Minuten dauert die „Space Symphony“, die sich musikalisch in zweiBereiche aufteilt: in mystische, weltraumaffine Emotionen und eine epische Melodie, bei der die Glückshormone buchstäblich aktiviert werden. Die „Space Symphony“ trägt unverkennbar die Handschrift von BigCityBeats. adds epic musical goosebumps to the space mission
“Cosmic Kiss” by ESA astronaut Matthias Maurer.

ESA astronaut Matthias Maurer is setting himself high goals for Autumn 2021. He will become
the fourth German astronaut to take their place on the International Space Station (ISS). The
mission „Cosmic Kiss“ is a declaration of Maurer’s love for space, stars and the universe. Once
up, he is due to live and work on the ISS for six months.

The mission has already attracted media attention, months prior to him boarding the spacecraft.
„Space Symphony“ - a composition by BigCityBeats, will be a consistent and reassuring
companion to mission content and has already been partially used in announcing Matthias’
mission name and patch. Now the epic masterpiece of sound and melody can be heard in all
its glory, having been shared across social networks and distributed throughout international
media. A specially-produced video will accompany the bombastic soundtrack throughout the
„Cosmic Kiss“ mission.

The „Space Symphony“ lasts around three and a half minutes, and is divided musically into two
areas: mystical and space. The musical masterpiece resonates emotions and melody,
combining to activate the positive, happy, ‘feel good’ hormones within the body.
"Entertainment meets Space" with the "Space Symphony" bears the unmistakable signature of
Bernd Breiter, the CEO of BigCityBeats. The creator and innovator of the WORLD CLUB DOME
is the creative head and producer of the total work of art "Space Symphony". Bernd also thrills
the masses with emotionally charged video productions such as "Die Welt steht still / The World
is on hold" and countless aftermovies. Now he sets a new multimedia emotional highlight with
the "Space Symphony".

It creates a feeling of musical wonderment and for three plus minutes you can experience a
sense of what it must be like to be one of the approximately 570 astronauts that have travelled
beyond Earth’s atmosphere. Each one of them after gazing down from the heavens and
returning to Earth with an experience that changed them forever.
The „Space Symphony“ - is of course not the first joint project between BigCityBeats and ESA.

ago by creating the first Zero-Gravity Club, a unique collaboration between BigCityBeats and

always a little more’ - in 2019 we were given the opportunity of creating club history on the ISS,
in which ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano became „the first DJ in space“ - another significant
milestone proving that entertainment could be emotionally interwoven amongst science, and
hard-hitting news.

ESA astronaut Matthias Maurer, who in 2019 stood alongside Bernd Breiter at the BigCityBeats
WORLD CLUB DOME Space Edition, in front of 50,000 guests on the Frankfurt Arena – Main
Stage, is also enthusiastic about the continuing expansion of the BigCityBeats and ESA
collaboration. „I am really happy that through our cooperation with BigCityBeats we can reach
people’s hearts and get them excited about ESA and space exploration. Music is a universal
